Hannah Walker is a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. She gained a first class honours degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling in 2010 and is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) 

As well as her private practice in Cobham, Hannah is a youth counsellor for Heads Together, a counselling agency for young adults aged 14-24.  Prior to this she spent two years working in an NHS setting.   

Hannah’s experience with adults and adolescents covers a wide range of life issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, sexual and emotional abuse, family breakdown, autistic spectrum disorders, trauma and anger.  Hannah’s particular experience with teenagers involves school related problems including anxiety and panic attacks, low school attendance, self-harm and cyberbullying.

At the heart of her work, Hannah offers you warmth, respect and a safe place for you to be yourself and for you to explore and express whatever you feel you want to without fear of judgement.   As an integrative counsellor, Hannah draws on a variety of psychological approaches to inform her work for each individual’s aims and needs including CBT, person-centred and psychodynamic theories.

Hannah welcomes every individual who is willing and feels able to try a counselling experience. She believes professional counselling has the potential to change a person’s life and their responses to life’s challenges.   

Hannah offers an introductory session for you to see if she is the right therapist for you.

Introductory sessions: £35 for 50 minutes (daytime) 
Regular sessions: £55 for 50 minutes (daytime)            

 

Hannah is open to discussing concessionary fees, weekend and evening arrangements.
